Also, what many people don’t realize is that feces from dogs can transmit disease and parasites. It is important to stop neighborhood dogs from using your grass as a toilet. It isn’t as difficult or as expensive as you may think.
There are a number of safe and harmless techniques to create a long-lasting impression that will stop dogs using grass in your lawn for relief.
- Method 1: Spray your lawn with a mixture of vinegar, black pepper, or cayenne pepper and water. Use three parts water, one part ingredient. If you choose cayenne pepper, crush it and only use the juice. Spray the lawn regularly, so that its effectiveness doesn’t wear off.
